Overview
The Hotel Traube really makes the most of the historic building and it's placement right in the centre of Zell's pedestrian zone, and it's great value too! It's known for having a friendly atmosphere and delicious food too.There's a trendy in-house bar/brasserie area that's also very popular. But if you're looking for something more laid-back, head to the sauna and relaxation area which is open from 4pm until 9pm each evening.

About Zell am See
Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.
The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs. Accommodation ranges from high-end hotels to welcoming family-run stays, all offering a friendly, personal feel.
