Ski Holidays in Les ArcsParadiski
Les Arcs is known for its huge variety of skiing, making it a popular choice for all abilities. Expect everything from tree-lined pistes and wide open cruising runs to challenging terrain and an excellent snow park. Each village has its own beginner areas and easy blues, giving newcomers plenty of space to build confidence, while more experienced skiers can head to areas like Peisey-Vallandry and the Glacier du Varet for more demanding skiing. For even more mileage, the cable car links directly over to La Plagne, opening up the full 425km Paradiski ski area.
The resort is split into several ski-in, ski-out villages, each with a distinct feel. Arc 1600 is relaxed and family-friendly, Arc 1800 is the liveliest with a strong après-ski scene, Arc 2000 offers high-altitude access and quick routes onto the glacier, and Arc 1950 combines a traditional alpine look with modern facilities. The resort is also recognised for its environmental efforts, holding B Corp certification for sustainability standards.
When you’re not skiing, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Arc 2000 is home to France’s largest Igloo Village, while Arc 1800 features the Mile8 leisure centre, complete with swimming pools, slides and family-friendly activities. Across the resort, you’ll also find a range of bars, restaurants and activities, making Les Arcs a well-rounded destination both on and off the slopes.
