Serre Chevalier, Grand Serre Chevalier
Four charming villages share sunny, varied slopes in the heart of a national park. After a day on the mountain, unwind in the pools & saunas of one of Europe's largest thermal spas
Overview
With 250km of varied slopes, Serre Chevalier offers wide-open bowls, scenic tree-lined runs, and around 300 days of sunshine each year. Long blue and red pistes suit intermediate skiers, while advanced skiers can tackle the famous Luc Alphand black run. Beginners are also well catered for with dedicated nursery areas across the valley.
Stay in the traditional alpine villages of Chantemerle or Villeneuve, or explore the historic town of Briançon, home to France's highest UNESCO-listed Old Town. Away from the slopes, unwind at the Grands Bains thermal spa or enjoy the excitement of the 4km Deval'Bob toboggan run.
