Dating back over 500 years, it’s one of the town’s oldest buildings, combining historic character with warm, friendly service. Breakfast is included, along with evening meals six nights a week, typically a four-course set menu with occasional themed nights such as fondue. The hotel also boasts a well-stocked wine cellar, reflecting its past as a former wine import office.

For relaxation, there’s a small spa with a sauna and hot tub, plus a lively bar with live music for après-ski. Guests can also enjoy complimentary experiences such as torch-lit walks with mulled wine, adding a memorable touch to the stay.

About Zell am See

Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.

The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs.
