The Hotel Latini is a colourful, welcoming hotel located in Schüttdorf, just outside Zell am See. Its bright exterior and mix of rustic alpine and modern design elements give it a cheerful, relaxed feel, while inside you’ll find warm tones, soft lighting and comfortable, well-finished interiors.

One of its biggest advantages is its location, with the AreitXpress lift just around the corner, providing quick access to the Schmittenhöhe ski area. This makes it a convenient base for getting onto the slopes with minimal hassle.

After skiing, guests can unwind in the Gold Spa, which features an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and relaxation areas, along with a fitness room for those wanting to stay active. Dining options include pizza at Papa Rudolfo’s or traditional Austrian dishes at Enzian Stube, with the latter included on a half-board basis. About Zell am See

Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.

The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs. Accommodation ranges from high-end hotels to welcoming family-run stays, all offering a friendly, personal feel.

Off the slopes, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Try the alpine coaster in nearby Kaprun, watch an ice hockey match, or enjoy a more relaxed afternoon tea overlooking the lake.
