Annexe junior suite with partition and balcony (approx. 42m²) - sleeps 2-5 (max 4 adults or 4 adults and 1 child up to 14 years): Austrian twin beds, bunk beds for two people, extra single sofa bed when booked for five, private shower, WC and balcony.

Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.

The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs. Accommodation ranges from high-end hotels to welcoming family-run stays, all offering a friendly, personal feel.

Off the slopes, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Try the alpine coaster in nearby Kaprun, watch an ice hockey match, or enjoy a more relaxed afternoon tea overlooking the lake.
