A superb property for some serious pampering, as well as for convenient access to the Grandvalira ski area. The Sport Hermitage is not your typical ski hotel. It exudes charm, character and style and is without question one of the most impressive hotels in Andorra. For those travelling with children there’s also a free supervised kids club at the neighbouring Sport Hotel.

About Soldeu - El Tarter

Soldeu sits at the heart of Grandvalira, giving skiers easy access to one of Andorra’s largest ski domains. The resort is particularly well suited to beginners and intermediates, with an excellent ski school and a wide range of gentle runs. More experienced skiers can explore the wider area before returning to the village via scenic blue or black pistes.

Popular with families and those seeking a touch of luxury, Soldeu is centred around a single main road, making it easy to get around. Accommodation is largely made up of four- and five-star hotels, many of which offer spas, pools and family-friendly facilities such as kids’ clubs.

El Tarter is a laid-back resort with access to a huge ski area, making it ideal for all abilities. Beginners can enjoy the dedicated learning zone and gentle blue runs, while confident skiers can explore the long, wide red pistes higher up the mountain. After skiing, a handful of bars offer relaxed après-ski drinks and live music.

The village features traditional stone and timber buildings on the hillside and sits next to Soldeu, where a livelier après-ski scene is just a short bus ride away..
