Pinzolo
Set in the Brenta Dolomites, this resort blends Italian tradition with scenic skiing & national park views. It’s ideal for families, with a strong kids’ ski area, wide red & blue runs, plus mountain restaurants with impressive panoramas
Overview
Pinzolo is a great choice for first-timers and families, with a nursery area set high above the village at the top of the Pinzolo–Prà Rodont gondola. Young skiers can also practise their turns on mini slalom features in the nearby kids’ area, making it an easy and confidence-building place to learn.
When you're ready to explore further, the Express cable car links into the wider Ski Area Campiglio, opening up around 150km of varied pistes for longer days on the mountain. The town itself has a traditional, lived-in feel, with shops, cafés and restaurants along its streets. Après-ski is relaxed, with the bar at the base of the Tulot–Malga gondola a popular spot, or you can unwind with an aperitif in the village after a stroll past the historic 14th-century church.
Off the slopes, there’s plenty to do, from skating at the Olympic Ice Arena to taking a tandem paragliding flight for a different perspective on the surrounding mountains.
