Overview

Hotel Mon Reve combines modern comfort with traditional Alpine character. Although built in 2009, the use of local timber and stone gives the hotel an authentic mountain-lodge feel, while cosy interiors, natural wood finishes and an open fireplace create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Skiing is particularly convenient, with direct access to the slopes from outside the hotel and a chairlift nearby. Beginners can also take advantage of the hotel's shuttle service to the nursery slopes, making it a great choice for mixed-ability groups.

Guests stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis, with a generous continental buffet served each morning. In the evenings, the cosy bar is the perfect place to enjoy an après-ski drink by the fire before heading into Cervinia to explore the resort's restaurants and lively dining scene.

Cervinia offers everything from wide, easy cruising runs to high-altitude glacier skiing on the Klein Matterhorn. With ski school located at the top of the gondola, beginners can enjoy impressive views from day one. For more adventure, an area pass opens up the linked terrain of Zermatt, along with spectacular cable car rides in glass-bottomed cabins.

Set at the top of the Aosta Valley, the compact town has a car-free, cobbled centre filled with shops and cafés.
