Overview
When it comes to ski hotels, the Valtur Cristallo is the complete package. We’re talking sleek, modern rooms decked out with designer furniture and fittings, plus an impressive set of facilities to make your stay even better. The hotel’s shuttle will zip you to and from the lifts every day. Then when you’re not on the mountain, unwind in the private lounge and enjoy free hot drinks and a buffet of finger food. Or swap ski boots for swimwear and take a leisurely dip in the pool instead. The hotel spa costs extra, but with its line-up of saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs, it’s well worth it to find some post-piste zen. And families haven’t been forgotten either – there’s a play area for the tots and games room for teens, as well as a kids’ club to make sure their stay is fun-filled from start to finish.
You’ll be staying bed and breakfast and each day starts with a gourmet buffet served up in hotel’s stylish Materia restaurant. Then later on, make sorting the evening meal simple by booking a table here for dinner and take your pick from a tempting 4-course à la carte menu.
We can also offer the Valtur Ski Resort 4* on a half board basis where you will have access to the facilities. Rooms are in the annexe building, which is linked to the main hotel by a corridor, (so you can pad between the two without going outside) and is more traditionally decorated with a classic Alpine ambience.

About Cervinia
Based on the Italian side of the Matterhorn, Cervinia is lift-linked to Zermatt, with 200km of its own runs. Because of its high altitude, it has a long season, great snow and is an absolute haven for intermediates. The slopes are superb for cruising and mileage skiing, while beginners will find masses of coverage. Advanced skiers will need to head over into Switzerland for extended challenges.
Because of its position, the scenery is outstanding and the high altitude gives guaranteed snow from November to May. If the weather holds, you can usually be guaranteed loads of sun as well as long tree-lined runs.
Cervinia is not the most attractive resort and is entirely purpose-built. There are good restaurants on and off the mountain, and a lively apres ski scene in the two. Weekend crowds also improve the atmosphere...
At over 2000m in altitude, it's Italy's highest resort and biggest fully linked ski area. Forget Alpine charm, you come to Cervinia for the convenience and superb ski area!
