Overview
Chalet Sorbier 2 is in an ideal position with superb ski access - just 30m to the chairlift. This recently refurbished chalet apartment, located above Sorbier 1, is beautifully appointed and tastefully furnished throughout. The open plan lounge and dining area benefit from large French windows with views onto the adjacent piste and to the Plagne 1800 chairlift. The lounge area has ample seating and a glass-fronted log-burning fire. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, two twin rooms and a double, which allow the chalet to sleep up to six people.

Location
Chalet Sorbier 2 is about 30m from the Plagne 1800 chairlift, you literally walk outside of your chalet and you can start your days skiing. The chalet is a 5 minute walk from the village centre, which has a local supermarket and hire shops.For those off you who are looking for apres ski bars there are a few en-route to the village centre.

Offered on a catered chalet basis, your holiday will include a cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee and cakes, and a 3 course dinner including a choice of complimentary, quality wines followed by coffee/tea served in the lounge. Breakfast and dinner will be served on 6 out of 7 days and a continental breakfast will be left out on 1 morning.

About La Plagne
La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.
The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.
Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
