Overview

Set in Plagne Villages at 2,100 metres, Chalet Riva combines effortless access to the 400km of slopes in Paradiski with exceptional comfort and style. Spanning 350m², this luxurious chalet features seven beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, alongside high ceilings, rich wood textures and velvet tones that create a warm yet sophisticated Alpine atmosphere.

At the heart of the chalet is a vast 80m² living space with a fireplace and panoramic mountain views, complemented by a stylish bar with jukebox and dance floor, games room with table football and a dedicated cinema room. Whether gathering around the fire or enjoying an evening of entertainment, there is plenty of space to relax and socialise.

After a day on the slopes, unwind in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountains, relax in the sauna or enjoy a treatment in the massage room. With a dedicated ski and boot room and direct access to the pistes, Chalet Riva makes on-mountain living as effortless as it is luxurious.

About La Plagne

La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.

The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.

Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
