Set at an enviable altitude of 2050m, the chalet forms part of a beautifully designed mountainside complex offering spectacular panoramic views and direct slope access. Chalet Hepatica stands out as one of only a select few chalets to feature both a private sauna and outdoor hot tub whichis the perfect combination for soothing tired muscles after a day exploring the vast Paradiski ski area.

Inside, the chalet combines warm alpine character with contemporary finishes. The inviting open-plan living and dining area features rustic timber beams, a vaulted ceiling, cathedral-style windows, and a central wood-burning stove. Generous seating and an L-shaped sofa create a cosy space for relaxed evenings, while the balcony offers the perfect setting for sunset drinks overlooking the mountains.

Thoughtfully arranged across split levels to maximise both comfort and privacy, Chalet Hepatica accommodates guests in beautifully finished en-suite bedrooms, each with a modern shower room. Room two also offers the flexibility to accommodate an additional guest, making the chalet ideal for families or groups seeking adaptable sleeping arrangements.

About La Plagne

La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.

The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.

Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
