Overview

Chalet Lever de Soleil is at the peak of the highest and one of the most central villages in La Plagne. At an altitude of 2050 metres the south-facing chalet has superb views of La Plagne and enjoys maximum sunshine. For your ultimate convenience you have direct access to the blue Roche de Mio piste leading you gently down to the village centre, where you will find the ski school meeting point and the restaurants and shops.

Description

Traditional furnishings combined with rich, deep coloured fabrics create a soothing and relaxed environment. After a day exploring the wonders of Paradiski collapse into the comfortable seating area and feel the warmth of the open fire in the open-plan living/dining area. Why not take your afternoon tea or favourite tipple to the balcony, soak up the sunshine and enjoy the incredible views of La Plagne. Each bedroom is furnished to give that home from home feel and the additional bunk beds allow the flexibility of hosting up to 10 guests with whole chalet bookings. The residence also benefits from a sauna, hot tub and steam room in (payable locally, from 5:00-7:00pm, Monday to Friday), ensuring you have all the relaxation you would need!

At an altitude of 2050 metres the south-facing chalet has superb views of La Plagne and enjoys maximum sunshine. For your ultimate convenience you have direct access to the blue Roche de Mio piste leading you gently down to the village centre, where you will find the ski school meeting point and the restaurants and shops. Alternatively they are just a 300 metre (approx.) walk away. Most of the resort is enviably car free and the village centre and the bus stop for the shuttle that links the various areas of La Plagne, is accessed by a lift only 150 metres walk (approx.) from the chalet.

About La Plagne

La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.

The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.

Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
