Recently refurbished, Chalet L’Alpicois is now fully en suite, with
plenty of comfortable seating, an open fire in the living room and a
large balcony, making this a welcoming chalet to return to at the end of
a great day in La Plagne.
Description
Location:
A 300 metre
walk (approx.) to the end of
the road brings you to the Capella piste from where it is an easy ski to
the lifts of Plagne Centre. The shops and restaurants of Plagne Centre
are just a 530 metre walk (approx.) from the chalet.
Chalet Layout:
Ground floor:
Room 1 = small twin plus extra single bed with shower and WC
Room 2 = twin with shower and WC
Room 3 = twin plus extra single bed with shower, WC and terrace
Upper floor:
Rooms 4 = large twin with shower and WC and double doors to balcony

NB The beds in this chalet are slightly smaller than the French norm.

About La Plagne
La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.
The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.
Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
