A small, friendly, family-run property comprising of four buildings, well situated for quick access to the slopes. There is a blue run to Zellerberg lift just outside the property and the Schmittenhohe gondola is just 300m away. The pedestrianised town centre is approximately 1.5 km down the hill and the ski bus stop just outside.

Meals: Buffet breakfast and four course evening meal with a choice of main. Weekly themed buffets including Italian and Farmer’s.

Rooms (2 people): Austrian twin rooms with shower, wc, hairdryer, cable TV . Some rooms have a balcony.

Apartments (2-4 people): One bedroom apartments with Austrian twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, kitchenette with microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge, plus shower, wc, hairdryer, cable TV available at a supplement (3rd and 4th adult reductions applicable).

Board Basis: Half Board. Christmas gala dinner and New Year’s Eve gala dinner and midnight snacks included.

About Zell am See

Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.

The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs. Accommodation ranges from high-end hotels to welcoming family-run stays, all offering a friendly, personal feel.

Off the slopes, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Try the alpine coaster in nearby Kaprun, watch an ice hockey match, or enjoy a more relaxed afternoon tea overlooking the lake.
