Overview

Ideally located in the centre of the village and recently stylishly refurbished using natural woods and attractive stone work. This small, tradtional hotel is very popular with our guests who return annually for the good food, warm atmosphere and personal service from the Scheiber family. The sun terrace here is very popular for lunch and afternoon drinks as it offers stunning interrupted views of the Ötz valley and glaciers.

Komfort Austrian Twin -sleeps 2- 22m² and have a bath or shower. All rooms furnished with local wood and have a stylish but cosy atmosphere.

Superior Austrian Twin -sleeps 2-4- 36m². These rooms also have a lounge area and balcony with south facing views.

Single Room -sleeps 1- are around 20m² and have a shower.

*Groups over the size of 10 people are not permitted in this hotel*

Austrian twin beds are one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated

Obergurgl skiing

Obergurgl is great for beginners and intermediates, which, along with good ski schools, makes for an excellent family ski holiday destination. One of the highest resorts in Austria at 1930m, Obergurgl has an excellent snow record and long season. Linked to Hochgurgl, there are over 100km of runs to enjoy. For more advanced skiers and boarders, there is often some nice off-piste to get that adrenalin pumping...

The resort itself is pleasing to the eye and offers a sense of alpine charm. Off snow activities are a little sparse, although après ski is jovial without being too hectic. Hotels are generally of a high standard, with some excellent facilities and very high end dining if you're staying at the right places!
