Run by the Falkner family, the Hotel Bergwelt enjoys a commanding position and panoramic views over the Ötz Valley. All rooms and suites are individually furnished and the luxurious spa area, which extends over 3 levels, has an indoor and small outdoor pool, whirlpool and various steam rooms and saunas.
From its eye-catching exterior to its elegant interior, the Bergwelt carefully combines the a modern and romantic style. And nothing is spared on quality. Rooms

All rooms have cable TV, minibar/fridge, free Wi-FI, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers.

Standard Austrian twin -sleeps 2-3- 25m².All rooms have bath or shower.

Junior Suites Type A3 or A4 -sleeps 3-4- 30m² with an Austrian twin bed and lounge area with double sofa bed. They all have a balcony.

Two Room Suites Type C1 or C2 -sleeps 3-4- 30-40m² and have a sliding door that separates the main bedroom and lounge area with single or double sofa beds. These rooms have a west-facing balcony.

Single rooms are around 20m² with double bed and small seating area.

About Obergurgl

Obergurgl skiing

Obergurgl is great for beginners and intermediates, which, along with good ski schools, makes for an excellent family ski holiday destination. One of the highest resorts in Austria at 1930m, Obergurgl has an excellent snow record and long season. Linked to Hochgurgl, there are over 100km of runs to enjoy. For more advanced skiers and boarders, there is often some nice off-piste to get that adrenalin pumping...

Obergurgl ski resort

The resort itself is pleasing to the eye and offers a sense of alpine charm. Off snow activities are a little sparse, although après ski is jovial without being too hectic. Hotels are generally of a high standard, with some excellent facilities and very high end dining if you're staying at the right places!
