Overview
The Braunbär Hotel & Spa captures everything that's great about a classic Swiss ski holiday. Traditional Alpine style is paired with modern comfort, with natural wood, soft furnishings and cosy touches throughout. A crackling log fire creates a welcoming focal point in the lounge, while friendly local hospitality and family-friendly facilities, including a dedicated play area for children, make it easy to settle in from the moment you arrive.
The location is just as appealing. Step outside onto Wengen's charming, traffic-free main street, surrounded by the spectacular Bernese Alps. The Männlichen cable car and nursery slopes are both within easy walking distance, so you'll be on the mountain in no time, whether you're taking your first turns or heading straight for the pistes.
After a day in the snow, the hotel's spa is the perfect place to recharge. Enjoy a swim in the indoor pool, unwind in the sauna and leave the day's skiing behind before relaxing with a drink in the bar, where regular live music creates a lively après-ski atmosphere. Dining is another highlight, with hearty Alpine-inspired dishes served each evening. For something extra special, gather friends for a traditional raclette in the cosy Grillkota, or, if you're celebrating as a couple, reserve the charming 'Number 100' gondola for an intimate Swiss fondue experience.
