Overview
Hotel Alpenrose opened its doors in 1881 and has been home to the Binder family since. Its relaxed atmosphere, great service and highly rated cuisine see guests return year after year to this charming family-run hotel.
Set in a quiet position, about eight minutes walk to the village centre, the hotel enjoys wonderful views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The hotel offers a small shuttle bus each morning to and from the train station and cable cars where all Hotel Alpenrose guests are able to store their equipment for free.
The charming interior, including cosy lounge and bar are beautifully furnished in an Alpine style, and relaxing in the lounge by the log fire is the perfect way to unwind after a day in the mountains.
All bedrooms are furnished in a modern alpine style, with wood panelling and cosy furnishings.

All the attractive alpine-style twin rooms have cable TV, wi-fi and hairdryer.
Standard Double Room -sleeps 2- have a shower and are north facing.
South Facing Standard Twin Room -sleeps 2-3- have balconies with lovely panoramic views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Also available with south facing.
Standard Single Rooms are around 15m² and are north facing.

Catering
A varied breakfast buffet is served each day, including a classic continental offering often featuring fresh bread from a local bakery, pastries and cakes, meat products from the region, fresh fruit and daily hot options such as pancakes, bacon and eggs to order.
Each evening a four course set menu evening meal including a starter, main course, dessert or cheese is served in the cosy dining room. Dinner is served from 7pm.
