Overview
Family-run for generations, the Hotel Belvedere combines warm Swiss hospitality with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Bright, spacious rooms offer a contemporary Alpine style, complete with thoughtful touches such as cosy seating areas, bathrobes and slippers. When it's time to head for the slopes, the hotel's complimentary shuttle makes getting there quick and easy.
After a day on the mountain, relax with a local craft beer or cocktail in the bar or lounge, where panoramic windows frame spectacular Alpine views. Live piano music six evenings a week adds to the atmosphere, while dining is a highlight in its own right. Choose from three restaurants, including a Michelin-starred fine dining experience or a fun fondue restaurant where your meal is served in a converted gondola. Each morning, a generous buffet breakfast showcases fresh regional produce.
For some post-ski entertainment, challenge family and friends in the games room with billiards, table football and board games, or unwind in the spa. Take a dip in the indoor pool before soothing tired muscles in the sauna, steam room and experience showers, where settings such as tropical rain and ice mist provide the perfect way to recharge for another day on the slopes.

About Grindelwald
Grindelwald is ideal for relaxed cruising, with long blue and gentle red runs winding through stunning alpine scenery. Sunny slopes on First and tree-lined pistes around Kleine Scheidegg offer plenty of variety, while the modern Eiger Express gondola and charming cog railway make exploring the mountain easy.
Set beneath towering 3,000m peaks, Grindelwald is a traditional Swiss village filled with timber chalets, family-run hotels and a lively atmosphere. From cosy mountain bars to vibrant après-ski venues, there's something for every mood after a day on the slopes.
Away from skiing, take the iconic railway to Jungfraujoch for unforgettable glacier views from the Sphinx Observatory. Or head to Grindelwald First for panoramic mountain scenery, thrilling activities like the zipline, and spectacular alpine viewpoints.
The World Snow Festival takes place in Grindelwald each year. Thousands of sculpturers present their creations on this event. It is worth watching them how they make their creations.
