Overview

Ideally located with ski-in, ski-out access, Hotel Lion Noir is just a two-minute walk from the nearest ski lift, as well as the shops and restaurants of Pila, making it a superbly convenient base for a ski holiday.

As the oldest hotel in Pila, it retains plenty of traditional rustic charm, most notably in its distinctive cave-like bar – an atmospheric spot for a post-ski drink. Throughout the property, you’ll also find plenty of seating areas where you can relax with a drink while taking in panoramic mountain views, including glimpses of the Matterhorn. The rest of the hotel blends a more modern style with classic Italian touches, while the rooms are simple, spacious and designed for a comfortable night’s sleep.

After a day on the slopes, unwind in the indoor pool or make the most of the spa facilities, which include a sauna, Turkish bath and emotional shower. Dining is equally satisfying, with a generous breakfast buffet to start the day and a hearty four-course evening meal to look forward to each night.
