Overview

Set in the upper part of Passo Tonale, Hotel Delle Alpi enjoys a prime location close to both the resort centre and the Valbiolo chairlift, offering excellent access to the slopes along with sweeping mountain views – ideal for starting the day in true alpine style.

After skiing, the welcoming lounge provides a warm and relaxing space to unwind, complete with live piano music each day and a well-stocked bar for a well-earned post-piste drink. Wine lovers are particularly well catered for, with an extensive list featuring hundreds of labels, as well as the option to enjoy a tasting session in the hotel’s own wine cellar for an additional charge.

Evening meals showcase the culinary traditions of the region, with a variety of dishes inspired by both Trentino and Lombardy, reflecting Passo Tonale’s unique border location.

Rooms are modern and comfortable, enhanced with subtle alpine touches such as wood-panelled details to maintain a cosy mountain feel. For ultimate relaxation, the wellness area offers a sauna, steam bath, emotional showers and a hot tub with an outdoor section – perfect for easing tired muscles after a day on the slopes.

Twin Room - sleeps 2-3: Twin beds, extra single sofa bed when booked for three people, private shower and WC. Most of these rooms have a balcony (but not guaranteed).

About Passo Tonale

Passo Tonale is an excellent choice for families and beginner skiers, offering 100km of slopes with modern lifts and quiet, confidence-building runs. The resort's high altitude, with most of the ski area above 1,800 metres, helps provide reliable snow conditions throughout the winter season. Beginners can even experience glacier skiing for the first time on the gentle blue run on the Presena Glacier.

The compact resort is centred around a single main road, making it easy to access the shops, restaurants and traditional hotels, many of which cater to families with facilities such as swimming pools, children's clubs and games rooms. The relaxed atmosphere continues into the evening, with a small selection of welcoming bars near the lifts offering drinks and occasional live music.

Away from the slopes, Passo Tonale offers a variety of winter activities suitable for all ages, including snow tubing, snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice skating. Families can also enjoy special evening events featuring music, face painting, hot chocolate and a torchlit ski descent for children, adding to the resort's welcoming and family-friendly appeal.
