Overview

The Hotel Ice Angels has bright, spacious rooms furnished in contemporary style. It's ideally located on the edge of the slopes, just a few metres from the main four-man chairlift in the heart of the resort. It also offers an indoor pool and wellness area to really help you relax after a day on the mountain.

About Borovets

Borovets is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria dating back to 1896 and is also the country's largest ski resort, boasting 58km of pistes. These are best suited for beginners and intermediates and are accessed by their much improved lift systems including chairlifts and gondolas. The Borosports Snow Park is a hit with boarders who wish to improve their skills. Reliable snow coverage is between mid December and the end of April. Borovets is easily accessible, located just 90 minutes from Sofia Airport.

The resort, which has hosted World Cup competitions twice, is surrounded by forests on Rila Mountain which are perfect for the torchlit walks - a highlight to any holiday. Other activities include evening ski shows and workshops for all ages, sleigh rides, snowmobiles, access to a leisure pool and there's even a bowling alley.

The modern town centre has a good choice of modern hotels, restaurants, shops, nightclubs and bars; ideal for soaking up Bulgarian culture.
