In a superb ski-in ski-out location at the top of Saalbach’s high street and just 20m from the Bernkogel lift, the Kendler is a hotel which remains an oasis of calm despite its central village location. Decorated to a high standard throughout it oozes relaxed charm, and the spacious bar, gourmet menus, individual service and state-of–the-art spa & pool tick all the boxes, even for our most discerning guests.
The spa facilities are outstanding – you’ll have a rooftop pool, panoramic whirlpool, connecting indoor and outdoor pool, sauna with mountain views, steam room and large gym.

Rooms

All of the 63 bedrooms are a really good size with stylish modern interiors with natural wood furnishings. They all have a Wi-Fi, hairdryer, safe and a TV.

Standard Austrian twin -sleeps 2-3- 20m² and have a bath or shower. These rooms can sleep up to three using the single sofa bed in the seating area which is only suitable for children.

Comfort Austrian twin -sleeps 2-4- are around 32m², double sofa bed when booked for four, some have a balcony at supplement.

Deluxe One Room Suite -sleeps 2-4- are around 44m² and have a bath, a double sofa bed when booked for four and balcony.

About Saalbach

With 270km of interconnected slopes on its doorstep, Saalbach is a fantastic base for skiers looking to explore one of Austria's largest ski areas. The varied terrain caters to all abilities, from easily accessible nursery areas and gentle, tree-lined blue runs to steeper north-facing pistes for more experienced skiers. If you're keen to cover even more ground, a connecting gondola provides seamless access to the neighbouring Zell am See–Kaprun ski area, opening up even more terrain to discover.

Nestled in the picturesque Glemm Valley, Saalbach has all the charm of a classic Austrian village. Traditional timber buildings line the streets around the distinctive onion-domed church, while a river winds through the lively pedestrianised centre. Après-ski is a big part of the resort's appeal, with slopeside bars providing the perfect place for a celebratory drink after a day on the mountain.
