Hotel Zimba is an adults-only hotel run by two generations of the Ladurner family in Schruns, one of the main villages in the Montafon ski region. It has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where service is personal and informal, giving it a classic Austrian, down-to-earth feel.
The location is central in Schruns, with the Hochjochbahn gondola around an eight-minute walk away, providing easy access to the surrounding slopes. This makes it simple to get out into the ski area each day without needing transport.
After skiing, the ZimbaQuellle spa offers a range of facilities for relaxation, including a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The hotel also features a bar area with occasional live music, along with casual activities like pool and table tennis for low-key entertainment.
Dining focuses on regional, seasonal cuisine. Breakfast includes local jams, cheeses and fresh produce, while evening meals are typically six-course dinners featuring traditional Austrian dishes, from hearty stews to fruit-filled desserts.

About Montafon
The Montafon valley offers a choice of charming bases to suit different styles of holiday. Golm is a popular option for families, thanks to its peaceful setting and range of child-friendly activities. Alternatively, stay in the traditional market town of Schruns-Tschagguns, where pedestrianised streets, local shops and welcoming cafés create an authentic Alpine atmosphere. It's also an excellent base for quick access to the extensive Silvretta Montafon ski area.
There's plenty to enjoy away from the slopes too.
