Overview
Hotel Alpenrose offers a warm, family-run taste of Austrian hospitality in the Montafon, close to the village of Schruns. The ski school, lifts and nursery slopes are all within around a five-minute walk, and a free ski bus stops outside the hotel for easy access to other parts of the valley.

The Montafon valley offers a choice of charming bases to suit different styles of holiday. Golm is a popular option for families, thanks to its peaceful setting and range of child-friendly activities. Alternatively, stay in the traditional market town of Schruns-Tschagguns, where pedestrianised streets, local shops and welcoming cafés create an authentic Alpine atmosphere. It's also an excellent base for quick access to the extensive Silvretta Montafon ski area.
There's plenty to enjoy away from the slopes too. Explore snow-covered landscapes on a snowshoe hike to a traditional mountain hut, race down the mountain on a toboggan, or experience the excitement of the Alpine Coaster, where sledges on rails reach speeds of up to 40km/h for an exhilarating ride through the winter scenery.
