Overview

This historic Romantik Hotel dates back to the 15th century and is set on the edge of Zell am See's medieval pedestrianised centre and close to the lake. Full of charm and attractive traditional features, it has a warm and welcoming feel provided by the Hörl family, a rustic bar & lounge area, and a wonderfully relaxing spa.

About Zell am See

Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.

The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs. Accommodation ranges from high-end hotels to welcoming family-run stays, all offering a friendly, personal feel.
