A free shuttle bus service makes getting around easy, taking you to the Schattberg Express gondola in around a minute or over to Hinterglemm in just a few minutes, with return transfers available at the end of the ski day. Alternatively, the resort centre and nearest lift are around a seven-minute walk downhill.

Rooms are spacious, individually styled, and equipped with modern comforts including free WiFi, offering a relaxing retreat after a day on the slopes.

In the evenings, guests can unwind in the sauna or enjoy a drink in the cosy hotel bar, choosing between relaxation or a sociable end to the day.

Please note: The last bit of the walk up to the hotel is quite steep. The road will be fitted with thick rubber mats that will be kept clear of the snow, but will not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. You'll arrive at the main street and your bags will usually be brought up to the hotel by quad bikes if available.

With 270km of interconnected slopes on its doorstep, Saalbach is a fantastic base for skiers looking to explore one of Austria's largest ski areas. The varied terrain caters to all abilities, from easily accessible nursery areas and gentle, tree-lined blue runs to steeper north-facing pistes for more experienced skiers. If you're keen to cover even more ground, a connecting gondola provides seamless access to the neighbouring Zell am See–Kaprun ski area, opening up even more terrain to discover.

Nestled in the picturesque Glemm Valley, Saalbach has all the charm of a classic Austrian village. Traditional timber buildings line the streets around the distinctive onion-domed church, while a river winds through the lively pedestrianised centre. Après-ski is a big part of the resort's appeal, with slopeside bars providing the perfect place for a celebratory drink after a day on the mountain. The fun continues well into the evening too, with a vibrant nightlife scene that includes bustling bars, live music venues and nightclubs that stay open into the early hours.
