Chalet Arpette 1 & 2 are in an ideal position in the village of La Plagne 1800, very convenient for the local shops and the ESF ski school. Both share a sauna and a ski deposit, which has the benefit of heated boot warmers. Arpette 1 is stylishly furnished, with leather sofas and a glass fronted fireplace in the comfortable lounge with large French windows leading onto a balcony.

Chalet Arpette is located in an ideal position just 80m from the nearest piste and chairlift in La Plagne 1800. It is also conveniently located just 150m from Plagne 1800 village amenities. Plagne 1800 has a small selection of bars and restaurants and for those who are looking for a slightly more lively aprés ski experience the resort runs a free bus service up until midnight to Plagne Centre. There are some popular nightlife spots including the popular “Scotty’s” bar which has live music on selected nights of the week and The Mouth which is a late night bar in Centre.

About La Plagne
La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.
The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.
Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
