Overview
Santa Cristina may be the smallest of Val Gardena's three resorts, but it offers direct access to the vast 1,220km Dolomiti Superski area. Intermediates can explore scenic, tree-lined red runs, while advanced skiers can test themselves on the famous Saslong World Cup piste or complete the legendary 26km Sella Ronda circuit.
The village has a relaxed atmosphere and traditional South Tyrolean charm, with a Gothic church, frescoed buildings and wooden chalets. After a day on the slopes, unwind in a hotel spa or enjoy hearty local specialities like fresh pasta, pizza and polenta. Away from skiing, snowshoe walks and fat biking offer another way to experience the stunning Dolomite scenery.
