Getting on the mountain is simple, with an in-house ski shop, hotel-run shuttle service to the lifts, and heated boot racks ready for the next day’s skiing.
After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the indoor heated pool or enjoy the hotel’s impressive spa facilities, including hot tubs and an ice fountain. There’s also a cocktail bar, wine bar, and cosy chocolate café, each offering a different atmosphere for relaxing evenings.
Half-board dining includes a varied breakfast and evening meal, plus lunch at two self-service mountain restaurants each day which is perfect for convenient breaks between runs. For something extra special, guests can also dine at the Viña Pomal Wine Bar, serving tapas and Spanish favourites.

Rooms
All rooms are non-smoking and have a TV, safe, hairdryer and telephone.
Twin room (approx. 12m²) – sleeps 1-2: Double or twin beds, private shower and WC.
Triple room (approx. 12m²) – sleeps 2-3 (max 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child up to 12 years): Double or twin beds, extra single child bed in bedroom when booked for three, private shower and WC.
Family room – sleeps 2-4 (max 2 adults and 2 children): Double or twin beds, two child beds in bedroom, private bathroom with shower and WC.
2 bedroom family room with interconnecting room (approx. 44m²) – sleeps 4-6 (max 5 adults or 5 adults and 1 child up to 12 years): Two double or twin bedrooms, each with their own private shower and WC, and living area with double sofa bed.
Just so you’re aware, the showers in all rooms are screened by a wall, but do open straight into the bedroom. Toilets are also behind a panel door and are separate to the shower.

About Baqueira-Beret
Another of the Spanish Royal Family's favourite resorts, Baquiera is also Spain's largest ski area. It's fashionable among Spaniards, which has led to higher prices than other local resorts. Baquiera provides enjoyable restaurants on and off the slopes, with the usual late start to any nightlife. Even though it's purpose-built, the village is quite attractive and the over-riding atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
As for the slopes, all are found above the tree-line, with no resort runs. All the skiing requires a lift up, but queues are largely avoided by the high calibre of the whole lift system. Baquiera's snow record is extremely reliable and is supported by extensive snowmaking facilities. Many have also commented on the quality of customer service established by the resort's management.
For skiers/boarders, the area is best for intermediates, with a good cruising potential and some decent challenges. This does mean that beginners, once they have completed the nursery slopes, find the next step quite a big one. As for experts, they should seek out the off-piste for untouched snow, or invest in some relatively cheap heli-skiing.
Overall, with 105km of runs, Baquiera is the best ski area in the Pyrenees and is on a par with many well-known Alpine resorts. There are ample skiing possibilities, while the charm that the Spanish bring to skiing make this a great alternative to your average ski holiday.
