Overview
This pleasant, Alpine style hotel has all the comforts of home and has been family-run since 1930s. The Banchetta Hotel is situated in the centre of Borgata, a small and friendly village 4km from the main resort of Sestriere. A perfect place to experience the local way of life which is centred around a couple of bars and restaurants. Borgata has its own chairlift that connects you easily (without queues most of the season) to its very own ski area and the rest of the Milky Way.
The staff here give a warm and friendly service, especially at meal times. Breakfast is buffet style, which means there's no waiting about if you're keen to get explore the Milky Way. The tasty four-course evening meal often including dishes from the Piedomonte region will help build your energy levels back up and don't forget to visit the bar, it's a great place to relax.

Standard Twin Rooms sleep two people and have a and some rooms have a mountain view. Room sleeping up to three people (extra single bed) are available but please specify at time of booking.

Catering
The Hotel Banchetta is on a half board basis.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast and a four-course evening meal with a starter of pasta or soup. The food is simple but comforting, which is just what you need when you're trying to warm up. This is a family hotel, so you'll feel right at home in it's welcoming restaurant. Once a week, there's also a candlelit dinner which will really help you wind down after a tiring day in the snow.

Sestriere is one of Italy’s highest ski resorts at 2,035m, offering reliable snow and a huge variety of terrain, from beginner slopes by the village to the Olympic downhill run. Skiers can explore local pistes or link across the border to Montgenèvre for even more mileage in the Milky Way area.
The resort is built for convenience, with ski-in ski-out hotels and easy access to the slopes, plus over 50 restaurants for evening dining. Après is fairly relaxed, with spots like Gargote Fashion Cafe adding a livelier atmosphere. For something different, try husky sledding through the surrounding forest.
