About Livigno
Twice crowned Italy’s best ski resort and host for the 2026 Winter Olympics, Livigno is fast becoming one of the Alps’ most popular destinations. Sitting at over 1,800m, it offers a winning mix of sunny slopes and reliable snow. The terrain is mainly blue and red, making it ideal for beginners and intermediates, while freestyle skiers will love the snow parks, from progression areas to advanced features like jump lines.
The resort stretches along the valley, but a free ski bus makes it easy to reach the lifts from anywhere. Traditional wood and stone buildings, once farmhouses, now house restaurants, bars and shops, giving Livigno a distinctive alpine feel. It’s also known for its lively après-ski scene and strong food culture, with local specialities and the famous bombardino cocktail a must-try.
Off the slopes, there’s plenty to enjoy, from duty-free shopping in the pedestrian centre to snow tubing and scenic snowshoe walks.
