The Hotel Lanz in Livigno has a very convenient ski location, with the ski bus stopping right outside and providing quick access to the nursery slopes and the Cassana gondola. The resort centre is also just a short walk away, giving easy access to Livigno’s shops, bars, and restaurants for après-ski and evenings out.

About Livigno

Livigno is one of those magical destinations that enjoys tax-free status and at 1815m, this high altitude means excellent snow conditions. Livigno is set in a wide, remote valley across the border from St Moritz where a Livigno lift pass will get you half-price on a day lift pass. Livigno is also the focal point for telemarkers in Europe. Livigno is a lively, friendly smart village with a modest apres-ski scene without the excesses on display in other resorts but what is on offer will be found at reasonably low prices.

As for the slopes (110km of runs), Livigno offers great stuff for beginners and intermediates, both boarders and skiers. The lift system is fast, modern and efficient enough to negate queues. There is a good choice of accommodation in Livigno much of it 'ski in, ski out', and as you would expect in Italy – welcoming hosts, good food and great choice for family ski holidays.
