Overview

Relais San Giusto combines traditional Alpine charm with relaxed, easy-going comfort in the heart of Campitello di Fassa. It’s conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the Col de Lin ski lift and nursery slopes, while the ski bus stop nearby makes it simple to reach the main Col Rodella cable car. The resort centre is also close at hand, giving easy access to cafés, bars, and restaurants after a day on the mountain.

The hotel has a classic Tyrolean look, with flower-filled balconies and wooden shutters on the outside, while inside you’ll find warm, wood-panelled interiors that create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. It’s designed to feel informal and comfortable, with plenty of spots to relax.

Guests can unwind in the sauna and steam room or enjoy a drink by the fire, making it a pleasant place to recover after skiing. Rooms are simple but comfortable, and many come with balconies for fresh mountain air and views.

Breakfast is served as a generous buffet each morning, and there is also the option of half board, with dinner provided at the hotel for those who prefer an easy, all-in-one dining arrangement after a full day on the slopes.

About Campitello di Fassa

Campitello is on the Sella Ronda circuit, providing 175km of pistes to cover. Most of this caters for intermediates and, with the aid of improved lifts, the whole domain is easily accessible. Campitello is linked to Canazei (two kilometres away), but is much quieter than its neighbour. It is a traditional, unspoilt village, with great restaurants and food, but a lack of foreign language-speaking instructors can make ski school a bit of a challenge. One visitor described the skiing as fairly uniform, with 'not much variety in grade - all red runs which put beginners, intermediates and experts on the same pistes'. The skiing doesn't reach down to the village and you'll have to get a lift up. And, as with most Italian resorts, childcare is pretty minimal.

Overall, Campitello di Fassa is a good value, small village from which to take advantage of the Sella Ronda circuit. It's great for lower abilities, with an attractive traditional South Tyrolean ambience.
