Résidence Eden puts you in a fantastic spot right in the centre of Vars, with the Telemix Chabrières and Télésiège Escondus lifts just a two-minute walk away. It’s the kind of location that makes ski days wonderfully straightforward, letting you swap the resort streets for the slopes in no time. And when you’re ready to unwind, there’s plenty nearby to keep you entertained, from restaurants and cafés to the lively après-ski scene.
The residence has a classic chalet-style look, with wooden balconies and a cosy alpine feel that sets the tone from the moment you arrive. Inside, the apartments are spacious, comfortable and refreshingly fuss-free, with fully equipped kitchenettes giving you everything you need to prepare an easy meal after a day on the mountain. Private balconies provide the perfect spot for a morning coffee while taking in the fresh mountain air or an après-ski drink as the sun goes down.
There aren’t loads of facilities on site, but that’s part of the appeal – this is a relaxed base designed around enjoying the resort. And if you don’t fancy cooking, you’ll find plenty of restaurants close by, serving everything from local specialities to comforting favourites. With the slopes, dining and resort atmosphere all on your doorstep, Résidence Eden is a great choice for a simple and flexible ski escape.

Rooms
All apartments are non-smoking have a kitchenette with a combination oven with microwave and grill, hob, fridge and coffee machine, as well as a flatscreen TV, hairdryer safe and free WiFi. Bed linen, towels, cleaning kit and end-of-stay cleaning (except the kitchen) are included.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €400 per week in cash or by credit card for each apartment on your booking.
Studio with balcony – sleeps 1-2: Double sofa bed in lounge, shower or bath, WC and balcony.
1 bedroom apartment with balcony – sleeps 1-4: Twin or double bedroom, double sofa bed in lounge, shower or bath, WC and balcony.
1 bedroom apartment with balcony – sleeps 1-6: Twin or double bedroom, bunk bed in alcove, double sofa bed in lounge, shower or bath, WC and balcony.
2 bedroom apartment with balcony – sleeps 1-6: Twin or double bedroom, bunk bed in cabin room, double sofa bed in lounge, shower or bath, WC and balcony.
3 bedroom apartment with balcony – sleeps 1-8: Two twin or double bedrooms, bunk bed in cabin room, double sofa bed in lounge, shower, bath, WC and balcony.
Cots are available to hire for approx. €49 per week, payable locally.

Catering
Offered on a self catered basis, guests will be able to collect provisions from the nearby supermarkets or enjoy sampling the regional and internationally inspired cuisine in one of the many local restaurants.
About Vars
Linked with neighbouring Risoul, Vars forms part of the La Forêt Blanche ski area, offering 185km of varied pistes suited to beginners, intermediates and families alike. Meaning 'the white forest', La Forêt Blanche is known for its scenic tree-lined runs, with sheltered slopes weaving through beautiful woodland. The resort also benefits from an impressive altitude, with skiing reaching 2,750m at the summit of Pic de Chabrières. Take in the panoramic views from the top before enjoying a long descent of more than 1,000 vertical metres back to the village below.
The resort offers two distinct experiences. Vars Les Claux is the modern heart of the ski area, where you'll find the main lifts, lively après-ski spots and the greatest choice of accommodation. Just a 10-minute bus ride away, Vars Sainte-Marie offers a more traditional Alpine atmosphere, with charming streets, wooden chalets and a quieter pace of life.
There's plenty to enjoy beyond the pistes too. Race through the twists and turns of the Caribou mountain coaster, a thrilling mix of roller coaster and alpine toboggan. If you're after more adrenaline, try ice driving or snowmobiling, or swap horsepower for huskies with a memorable dog sledding adventure through the snowy landscape.
