Overview
La Grange aux Fées combines traditional alpine character with a touch of understated luxury, with wood panelling, exposed stone and classic balconies giving the property plenty of Savoyard charm. The best bit is the ski-in, ski-out access onto a blue run, making it a great choice if you’re already comfortable on skis. After a day on the slopes, the cosy interiors, soft furnishings and spacious apartments give you plenty of room to relax.
The apartments are designed with easy self-catering in mind, with well-equipped kitchenettes and dishwashers to make mealtimes simple. Thoughtful little touches add to the welcome, from tea bags and coffee pods to a sweet treat on arrival, with younger guests getting a surprise of their own.
For a proper après-ski wind-down, settle into the lounge beside the feature fireplace or take in the mountain views through the large windows while the kids enjoy their own corner. Then head to the Ô des Cimes spa for an indoor pool, hot tubs and sauna, all with the mountains as your backdrop.

Rooms
All apartments have a kitchenette with electric hob, coffee machine with pods, tea and coffee-making facilities, still and sparkling water, sweet treat, condiment kit, toaster, mixer, steamer, multi-function oven, dishwasher, tea towels and fridge, as well as a satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe, bathrobes and slippers. Towels, linen and end-of-stay cleaning (except kitchen) are included. Beds are made on arrival.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €400 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.
1 bedroom apartment (approx. 30-40m²) – sleeps 1-4: Twin bedroom, lounge area with double sofa bed, shower or bath, WC and balcony.
2 bedroom apartment (approx. 50-60m²) – sleeps 1-6: Double bedroom, twin bedroom, lounge area with double sofa bed, shower or bath, WC and balcony. Some of these apartments are duplex.
3 bedroom apartment (approx. 70-80m²) – sleeps 1-6: Two twin bedrooms, double bedroom, lounge area with double sofa bed, shower or bath, additional shower, WC and balcony. Some of these apartments are duplex.
Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request and subject to availability.

About Valmorel
Set within the Le Grand Domaine ski area, Valmorel offers 165km of varied pistes shared with neighbouring Saint François Longchamp. It's an excellent choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, thanks to its mix of gentle green runs and wide, easy-going blue pistes. More experienced skiers will also find a selection of reds and blacks to keep things interesting. Beginners are especially well catered for, with dedicated learning areas high on the mountain, where spectacular Alpine views provide an unforgettable backdrop to those first turns.
Purpose-built for convenience yet full of traditional charm, Valmorel strikes the perfect balance between practicality and character. Designed in classic Savoyard style, the village is filled with stone buildings, timber façades and slate roofs, creating a warm Alpine atmosphere. Most accommodation is within easy walking distance of both the village centre and the slopes, making getting around effortless.
When the lifts close, Valmorel's relaxed atmosphere continues. If you're visiting between February and March, don't miss the weekly ski show, where a torchlit descent, live entertainment and fireworks light up the evening.
