Overview

Chalet Les Andes is situated in the Les Almes area of the resort, a prime location just 70m from the nearest piste & only 400m from the ski school meeting point & resort centre. A choice property with its own private swimming pool and a widescreen TV, CD & DVD player in the lounge which overlooks the resort & the Grande Motte Glacier.

Your chalet: Sleeps 20-22 people in 10 ensuite twin, double or triple rooms, all with a balcony.

Ground floor: Private indoor swimming pool (7.4m x 3.7m), sauna, shower and wc. Ski and boot storage room with heated boot rack.
First & second floor:Each floor has one club double, three club twins and one club triple room. The club triple has a bath, shower, wc & balcony.
Third floor: Large lounge with large sofas, TV and DVD player with a fireplace, huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the resort and a 'nook' up a small stairway with comfortable seating. Separate dining room with views over the mountains.
Note: Club twin & double rooms have a balcony and either shower or over-bath shower & wc.

Meals: Catered Chalet Board.
An energising hot and continental breakfast every day. Daily afternoon tea with freshly baked cake and biscuits. A delicious four-course evening meal including pre-dinner appetisers with a glass of wine before a home cooked, regionally inspired dinner on six nights, all served with a selection of complimentary wines and fresh after-dinner coffee.
On your non-inclusive meal night, head out to explore the resort. Your chalet host can recommend and book tables for you if you wish.

About Tignes

With 300km of pistes across the Tignes–Val d'Isère ski area, Tignes is one of the Alps' premier ski destinations. The skiing reaches up to 3,456m on the Grande Motte glacier, offering reliable snow conditions and an outstanding variety of terrain. Cruise through tree-lined runs, tackle long descents from the glacier or test your technique on the area's famously challenging blues and reds. Beginners are well looked after too, with nine free lifts in the nursery areas so first-timers can build confidence before buying a lift pass.

The resort is made up of several villages, each with its own character. Val Claret and Le Lac are at the heart of the action, with excellent ski-in, ski-out accommodation, lively après-ski and easy access to the slopes – especially the glacier from Val Claret. For a quieter stay, Tignes 1800 and Les Brévières offer a more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in a hotel spa or apartment after a day on the mountain. Wherever you stay, the spectacular Alpine scenery is never far away, with the frozen lake providing one of the resort's most memorable backdrops.

Away from the slopes, there's plenty to keep the adventure going. Try ice diving beneath the frozen lake for a truly unique experience, or make the most of free entry to Le Lagon aquatic centre with a six-day lift pass and enjoy the pool and waterslides. For an extra adrenaline rush, take on the Bun J Ride – a thrilling mix of ski jumping and bungee jumping that's unlike anything else in the Alps.
