Overview

One of the original chalets in Tignes Les Brévières, Chalet Sachette has been thoughtfully updated to retain its traditional charm while adding modern finishes and contemporary comforts throughout the main floors. Its blend of character and practicality makes it a welcoming base for groups and families.

The chalet features four en-suite bedrooms, plus two further bedrooms that share a shower room with an infrared sauna, offering flexibility and privacy for different group arrangements. Upstairs, the bright living and dining area features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large windows, creating a spacious and inviting place to relax together.

A dedicated ski room with heated boot warmers and plenty of storage provides everything needed for an easy ski holiday, with practical touches that make group stays and longer trips comfortable.

Description

Location

Set opposite the village church in Tignes Les Brévières, Chalet Sachette enjoys a convenient location just 160 metres (around a 2–3 minute walk) from the Brévières gondola and the beginner drag lift. Bars, restaurants and local shops are all within easy walking distance, making evenings in the village simple and relaxed.

The Brévières gondola provides direct access to the expansive Tignes–Val d’Isère ski area, allowing quick connections to higher-altitude slopes. The nearby nursery slopes and drag lift are perfect for beginners, and ski school meeting points are close at hand.

A free ski bus also stops nearby, giving easy access to Tignes 1800, Le Lac and Val Claret, where you’ll find a wider choice of dining, shopping and après-ski options.

About Tignes

With 300km of pistes across the Tignes–Val d'Isère ski area, Tignes is one of the Alps' premier ski destinations. The skiing reaches up to 3,456m on the Grande Motte glacier, offering reliable snow conditions and an outstanding variety of terrain. Cruise through tree-lined runs, tackle long descents from the glacier or test your technique on the area's famously challenging blues and reds. Beginners are well looked after too, with nine free lifts in the nursery areas so first-timers can build confidence before buying a lift pass.

The resort is made up of several villages, each with its own character. Val Claret and Le Lac are at the heart of the action, with excellent ski-in, ski-out accommodation, lively après-ski and easy access to the slopes – especially the glacier from Val Claret. For a quieter stay, Tignes 1800 and Les Brévières offer a more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in a hotel spa or apartment after a day on the mountain. Wherever you stay, the spectacular Alpine scenery is never far away, with the frozen lake providing one of the resort's most memorable backdrops.

Away from the slopes, there's plenty to keep the adventure going. Try ice diving beneath the frozen lake for a truly unique experience, or make the most of free entry to Le Lagon aquatic centre with a six-day lift pass and enjoy the pool and waterslides. For an extra adrenaline rush, take on the Bun J Ride – a thrilling mix of ski jumping and bungee jumping that's unlike anything else in the Alps.
