Overview
Chalet Arnaud is a genuine Savoyard mazot, one of the last of its kind, tucked away on a peaceful slope above Arc 1800. With its beautifully aged wooden exterior and secluded setting, the chalet offers a truly special escape surrounded by nature, mountain views and the quiet charm of traditional Alpine living.
Inside, the ground floor features a cosy open-plan living and dining space, centred around a wood-burning fireplace and furnished with comfortable sofas and rustic wooden pieces. Upstairs, three characterful bedrooms provide a warm and inviting retreat, each with its own en-suite bathroom, traditional wood panelling and soft atmospheric lighting.
While wonderfully secluded, Chalet Arnaud has everything needed for a comfortable ski holiday, including a dedicated ski and boot room with warmers, dependable heating throughout and hot, powerful showers. After a day on the slopes, return to the fire, unwind in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the simple pleasures of an authentic mountain hideaway.

Location
Arc 1800 – Skiing can be accessed directly with a piste next to the chalet and the Dahu Télécabine 450 metres (approx.) away, which accesses the Carreley chair and the heart of the Plan Vert area which is great for skiers of all abilities. With the town centre and ski hire shop 1200 metres (approx.) away, accessible by 5 minute bus or by the télécabine, this really will feel like your own private mountain getaway, whilst being within easy reach of one of France’s most popular resorts.
The hillside location of this chalet means access is via a slope which can be snowy, so suitable footwear and easy-to-carry bags are recommended.
Chalet Layout
Chalet Arnaud is one of the last remaining mountains huts in the valley. The chalet is charming and the interior is warm and cosy. The entrance leads directly into the open plan living/dining area with an open fireplace, comfortable seatings and rustic dining table. The kitchen is functional and has all the facilities.
