Thoughtful decorative touches add character throughout, while the lounge provides a welcoming space with a traditional stone fireplace and comfortable seating.

About Le Grand Bornand
Le Grand Bornand is ideal for families and mixed-ability groups, with 90km of mostly cruisy blues and steady reds across the Aravis mountains. Beginners can use the Rosay gondola or head to Chinaillon’s higher nursery areas, while confident skiers can enjoy tree-lined runs, open pastures and more challenging slopes around Mont Lachat.
The resort is split between two villages: the traditional Le Grand Bornand Village, with its historic church, wooden chalets and strong farming heritage, and the higher Chinaillon, which offers convenient slope access and a mix of modern and traditional accommodation.
Off the slopes, there’s cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating, plus a strong sporting legacy as host of the Biathlon World Cup and Winter Olympic biathlon events.
