Overview

The Cella Central Hotel Apartments are perfectly placed in the heart of the pedestrianised Old Town, putting shops, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. They’re also ideally located for skiing, with the City Xpress gondola just a five-minute walk away.

These apartments offer a great balance between independence and hotel-style comforts. Each apartment has a convenient kitchenette, making it easy to prepare your own meals if you prefer a quiet evening in. Guests can also make use of the facilities at the Hotel Central, located directly opposite, including the City Spa with its sauna, hot tub and experience rain showers.

Breakfast is served buffet-style at the Hotel Central and includes a selection of cereals, breads, pastries and hot items such as eggs and sausages. In the evenings, you can either cook in your apartment, dine in the hotel restaurant, or explore the wide range of restaurants available in the town centre.

All apartments are non-smoking and have a kitchenette with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, as well as a TV, hairdryer, slippers and safe. Towels, bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning are included.

1-bedroom apartment – sleeps 2-4: Bedroom with Austrian twin beds, lounge area with double sofa bed, shower and WC.

Austrian twin beds: One large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.

Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request.

About Zell am See

Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a favourite for families and beginners, with pretty tree-lined runs and wide pistes overlooking the lake. Intermediates and advanced skiers can head to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, as well as explore the linked Ski Circus area for even more variety.

The town has a postcard-perfect setting, with frescoed buildings around a cobbled centre and a lakeside promenade facing the Hohe Tauern mountains. You’ll find plenty of cafés, shops and bars, from lively après-ski spots to relaxed pubs. Accommodation ranges from high-end hotels to welcoming family-run stays, all offering a friendly, personal feel.

Off the slopes, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Try the alpine coaster in nearby Kaprun, watch an ice hockey match, or enjoy a more relaxed afternoon tea overlooking the lake.
