Relais & Châteaux Spa-Hotel Jagdhof is a luxury five-star retreat on the edge of Neustift im Stubaital, set beside the Ruetz River with views of the surrounding Alpine peaks. A ski bus stop directly outside the hotel provides easy access to both the local lift network and the Stubai Glacier.

The hotel is particularly renowned for its award-winning wellness facilities. Its expansive spa features a wide range of saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools with underwater music, relaxation spaces and themed wellness areas inspired by different architectural styles. While the spa zone is reserved for adults, the indoor and outdoor pools are available for guests of all ages, making it suitable for both couples and families.

Dining is a major highlight and has earned recognition from respected guides including Michelin Guide and Gault & Millau. Half-board includes a gourmet breakfast buffet with freshly baked breads, pastries, fruit and cooked-to-order dishes such as omelettes and pancakes. All rooms are non-smoking and have flatscreen, smart TV with English channels, telephone, safe, minibar, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and balcony. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available for an extra charge.

Family room with balcony - sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults and 1 child up to 15 years old): Austrian twin beds, double sofa bed, private shower or bath, WC and balcony.

Twin room with balcony - sleeps 2-3 (max 2 adults and 1 child up to 15 years old): Austrian twin beds, single sofa bed, private shower or bath, WC and balcony.

Kids' reps will lead indoor activities like painting as well as outdoor activities in good weather.

Teens can chill out with video games and darts in the games room.

During the school holidays, the Club is on daily, from approx. 10am – 1pm and 4-9pm. In term time, it's open approx. Monday – Friday from 10am – 1pm and 4-9pm, for half days on Saturday from 4-9pm and is closed on Sundays. Please be aware that opening times and days may change – you should ask for updated information at the hotel reception on arrival.

About Neustift im Stubaital

The traditional village of Neustift, around 20km from the glacier, is easily reached on the free ski bus. Full of Tyrolean charm, it's home to a beautiful Baroque church, timber-framed buildings with pitched roofs and flower-filled balconies. Après-ski here is refreshingly low-key, with cosy hotel bars, welcoming pubs, friendly locals and regular live music creating a relaxed atmosphere.

Nicknamed the Kingdom of Snow, the Stubai Glacier is Austria's largest glacier ski area, offering reliable snow from October through to May. Its 65km of pistes are mainly made up of wide, uncrowded blue and red runs that are perfect for cruising and carving, while a handful of fast black runs provide an extra challenge for confident skiers.

If you're keen to explore beyond the glacier, upgrading to the Ski Plus City Pass unlocks access to a total of 291km of slopes across nearby resorts, including Schlick 2000, Axamer Lizum and Kühtai.

Even on a day away from the slopes, the glacier is well worth a visit. Take in breathtaking Alpine panoramas from the Top of Tyrol viewing platform, then enjoy a meal at the Jochdohle restaurant, Austria's highest mountain restaurant, perched at an impressive 3,150 metres above sea level.
