Hotel Barbarahof is a well-located, characterful hotel in Kaprun, set right next to the nursery slopes and close to the resort centre. Many rooms offer impressive views of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, with some also featuring balconies for enjoying the Alpine scenery.

Inside, the hotel is more stylish than its exterior suggests, with a modern lounge and American-style cocktail bar centred around a Mediterranean-inspired fireplace, plus an extensive wine cellar for added atmosphere.

Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. About Kaprun

Kaprun is an excellent choice for early and late-season skiing, thanks to the snow-sure slopes of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. Reaching the glacier is effortless via the K-onnection gondola, which links the village directly to the mountain. Wide, open blue runs are perfect for relaxed cruising, while the steeper red and black pistes lower down provide a rewarding challenge for more experienced skiers. Beginners are equally well catered for, with a dedicated nursery area conveniently located just a short distance from the resort centre.
