Overview

Hotel Magic Ski is a relaxed, ski-in style hotel in La Massana with an excellent location right by the lifts. The hotel is directly connected to the ski station building, so you can simply walk up from the ski lockers and step straight onto the gondola, making it especially convenient for getting out on the slopes quickly each morning.

Inside, the atmosphere is informal and easy-going, with comfortable rooms and a range of lounge areas designed for unwinding after a day in the mountains. In the evenings, guests can relax in the bar, play pool, or enjoy a more sociable après-ski setting. There’s also a spa area with a sauna, steam room, swimming pool and hot tub available for those wanting to unwind further, along with a dedicated children’s play area for families. On selected evenings, entertainment such as a magic show adds to the hotel’s laid-back charm.

Dining is buffet-style throughout the stay, with a generous breakfast offering everything from pastries and continental options to cooked items like eggs and bacon. Evening meals are also served as a buffet, giving guests a wide choice of dishes each night.

All rooms are non-smoking and have a TV with English channels, stocked minibar, hairdryer, telephone, safe and room service.

Twin room (approx. 25m²) – sleeps 1-2: Twin bedroom, private shower or bath, and WC.

Triple room (approx. 32m²) – sleeps 2-3: Twin bedroom with an extra single sofa bed, private shower or bath, and WC.

Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request.

About La Massana

La Massana is a great choice for first ski holidays, with mostly gentle, tree-lined slopes and easy access to the mountain via a central gondola. The skiing sits mainly above 1,500m, helping ensure reliable snow conditions. Beginners can step straight onto nursery slopes, while more confident skiers can explore wide blue runs and easy reds that wind through the forests below Pic del Cubil.

The village has an authentic, lived-in feel, with traditional stone buildings in the centre and newer hotels and apartments on the outskirts. Around the gondola area you’ll find relaxed bar-cafés with live music, while livelier nightlife is just a short bus ride away in nearby Arinsal.

Beyond skiing, there are plenty of activities to try, including forest ziplines, snowshoeing, and other family-friendly mountain attractions.
