Overview
Freshly renewed in 2020 the Romantik Hotel Cappella stepped up a level becoming a stunning and luxurious 5-star hotel. Works lasted nine months with the use of high-quality materials, great respect for the environment, for guests’ needs and impressive attention to every single detail. Each environment is enriched by precious artefacts from all over the world making this hotel a truly special place for your ski holiday in the marvellous Dolomites.
All rooms have been enlarged becoming even more spacious, completely renewed with natural wooden floors, stylishly decorated and all gifted with private balconies with stunning views overlooking the majestic Dolomites mountains or the lovely village of Colfosco. The rooms are true jewels and some of them boast a private infrared sauna.
The beautiful spa and wellness area already renewed in 2015 was now further expanded and enriched with a spectacular heated outdoor pool complete with unique views. You can totally re-invigorate yourself here choosing from many different saunas (family sauna, Finnish sauna, salt sauna), a relaxing Sky room, Turkish bath, fitness area and indoor pool (40m2 completely renewed). A lovely cocktail is available at the Lounge bar and further lounge areas are on each floor benefiting from beautiful views on the Sella Group mountains. Furthermore, a new garage ensures private parking for all the hotel’s guests.

The Hotel boasts a unique and enviable ski-in/out location on the Sellaronda slopes in beautiful Colfosco, the village centre is just a stroll away and lively Corvara is just a 4-minute drive from the Hotel. In a splendid natural landscape.

About Corvara
Found in the Alta Badia ski area and a linked offshoot of the Sella Ronda circuit, Corvara is one of the bigger villages. It is also one of the more lively. There are lots of restaurants, bars and hotels and, as one recent visitor has noted, 'if you like good food and great wine and beer, this is the place for you'. The other villages on the circuit offer even more eateries, but drinking and driving is just as stupid in Italy as it is anywhere else. Corvara is very conveniently positioned to get the most out of the region's skiing, much of which favours intermediate cruisers and beginners. Experts may well want to stay in nearby Arabba for some of best tough stuff in the Italian Alps. Unfortunately, as with the less well-known Italian resorts, foreign languages are not widely spoken, so ski school in particular can be a bit of a problem.
Overall, Corvara is a good spot for getting the best of the Alta Badia and the Sella Ronda areas – also offering plenty to occupy your stomach in the evenings…
