Hotel Kolfuschgerhof is a family-run hotel in the picturesque village of Colfosco, on the edge of Corvara, offering an excellent base for exploring the renowned Sella Ronda ski circuit. With the nearest lifts just 200 metres away, accessing the slopes couldn't be easier.
After a day on the mountain, guests can unwind in the hotel's impressive wellness area, which features an indoor pool, steam room, hot tub and a choice of four different saunas. It's the perfect place to relax and recharge before another day of skiing.

All rooms have a satellite TV, WiFi, telephone, bathrobes, hairdryer, minibar and safe. Tea and coffee making facilities are available at an extra charge on request. Cots are available to hire for €45 per night, to be paid locally, request on booking.

Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.

About Corvara
Found in the Alta Badia ski area and a linked offshoot of the Sella Ronda circuit, Corvara is one of the bigger villages. It is also one of the more lively. There are lots of restaurants, bars and hotels and, as one recent visitor has noted, 'if you like good food and great wine and beer, this is the place for you'. The other villages on the circuit offer even more eateries, but drinking and driving is just as stupid in Italy as it is anywhere else. Corvara is very conveniently positioned to get the most out of the region's skiing, much of which favours intermediate cruisers and beginners. Experts may well want to stay in nearby Arabba for some of best tough stuff in the Italian Alps. Unfortunately, as with the less well-known Italian resorts, foreign languages are not widely spoken, so ski school in particular can be a bit of a problem.
Overall, Corvara is a good spot for getting the best of the Alta Badia and the Sella Ronda areas – also offering plenty to occupy your stomach in the evenings…
