The Chalet Alpages are made up of a hamlet of chalets in La Plagne Village & La Plagne Soleil.

Description

All the chalets are modern in design and comfortably furnished.

The open plan layouts of the chalets make for them being a very social place to be, relaxing wtih fellow guest discussing the days adventures on the mountain.

The Chalet Alpages are located on the edge of the piste in La Plagne Village & Soleil. A short walk of approximately 5 minutes will take you to the centre of either.

Here you will find the ski hire shop where you will pick up any ski or snowboarding equipment you may have hired.

There is also a small selection of bars and restaurants that serve anything from French fries, pizzas to the more traditional Savoyard cuisine.

All the chalets are located on edge of a blue run. A short walk either up a few steps or letting gravity do the work the preference at the start of the day is to take the steps down, through a number of chalets within the Alpage Hamlet, and a couple of minutes later you are at the edge of the piste.

The piste is a gentle blue run which leads guests down towards the ski school meeting place and also the chair lift system into the Paradiski domain.

At the end of the day getting back to the chalet take the easy runs to the top of the Alpage Hamlet, follow the chales down and you will end up at the top of the stairs which leads down to the chalet.

The chalets are made up of different sizes. There are chalet units available accommodating 8 to 10 guests thus allowing flexibility when booking smaller groups or families.

About La Plagne

La Plagne is a superb choice for families and anyone looking to build confidence on the slopes, with access to 425km of varied skiing in the Paradiski area. Beginners can progress from gentle nursery slopes to wide, scenic blue runs, including those from Grande Rochette back to Plagne Centre. More experienced skiers can enjoy longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise, while those wanting to explore further can take the double-decker cable car over to Les Arcs for even more terrain.

The resort is made up of several linked villages, each with its own character. Plagne Centre is the original hub, while Plagne Soleil is the newest. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are among the prettiest options, Plagne Villages sits right in the heart of the ski area, and Plagne Aime 2000 offers a quieter, family-friendly base. All villages provide a mix of accommodation, restaurants and easy access to the pistes.

Off the slopes, La Plagne offers plenty of unique experiences. You can race down France’s only Olympic bobsleigh track, take a ziplining adventure across the mountains, or visit the Bellecôte glacier’s ice grotto filled with intricate sculptures carved from snow and ice. For a more relaxed alternative with the same access to the Paradiski area, the nearby village of Montalbert offers a smaller, laid-back atmosphere while still connecting directly into the ski network.
