Blandford
Overview
One of 13 ski resorts in Massachusetts, Blandford is a two-hour drive west of Boston. Its slopes offer 525ft of vertical drop, with a total of 158 acres of skiing terrain, 80% of which can be covered by artificial snow. The skiing season runs from late December to mid March, but the resort is shut Mondays to Thursdays. Lift tickets start at just $15 for a full day.
Five lifts give access to 26 trails, mostly suited to intermediates. There are just four pistes earmarked for experts, but there is a terrain park and half-pipe. The resort is popular with families and night-skiing is available on Fridays.
